1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Go Buddy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By creating an account, downloading the app, or booking a ride, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide a valid government-issued ID for verification.
- You must use your real legal gender for matching — falsifying this is grounds for permanent ban.
3. The Buddy System
Go Buddy enforces strict same-gender matching between rider and driver. This is enforced at the platform level and cannot be overridden by either party. Attempts to circumvent the system (creating duplicate accounts, using another person's ID, etc.) will result in permanent termination.
4. Zero-tolerance safety policy
The following will result in a permanent, ID-linked ban from the platform after a 24-hour review:
- Smoking during a ride (detected by the AI Smart Helmet).
- Harassment, threatening behaviour, or any form of violence.
- Deliberate route deviation by a driver without rider consent.
- Operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Sharing or tampering with the AI Smart Helmet hardware.
Banned users cannot create new accounts. Bans are not subject to appeal and do not entitle the user to a refund of unused credits.
5. Bookings, fares and cancellations
- Fares are quoted upfront and confirmed on completion of the ride.
- Riders may cancel within 2 minutes of booking at no charge.
- Cancellations after the driver is en route incur a fixed fee, disclosed in-app.
- Payment is collected via the in-app payment method on file.
6. Driver obligations
Drivers commit to comply with all local traffic laws, maintain the condition of the vehicle and helmet, and behave professionally. Three confirmed low ratings or any safety violation will result in deactivation.
7. Rider obligations
Riders agree to treat drivers with respect, not damage the vehicle, and not bring any prohibited items (firearms, explosives, narcotics) on board. Pets are allowed only when explicitly indicated at booking.
8. Intellectual property
The Go Buddy name, logo, app, and helmet hardware design are the exclusive property of Go Buddy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the service without our written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Buddy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the fare value of the relevant ride or ₹10,000, whichever is greater.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana.
